Onboarding Walkthrough
When you first sign in, Prodfolio walks you through a quick two-step onboarding to personalize your experience and set up your profile.
Step 1: Tell us about yourself
You’ll answer three quick questions:
- Career stage — Where are you in your PM journey? (Aspiring, Starting Out, Early Career, Mid-Career, Senior/Leadership)
- Primary goal — What are you hoping to accomplish? (Land first PM role, Job searching, Get promoted, Grow your presence, Just exploring)
- How you heard about Prodfolio — Helps us understand where our community comes from
Step 2: Set up your profile
This is where you create your public identity:
- First name and last name (required)
- Professional title (required) — e.g., “Senior Product Manager”
- LinkedIn URL (optional)
- Your portfolio slug — This becomes your public URL:
prodfolio.io/p/your-slug
Choose a slug that’s easy to remember — your name or a professional handle works best. You can check availability in real time.
What happens next
After completing onboarding, Prodfolio automatically creates your first portfolio. You’ll land on the portfolio builder where you can start adding your experience, case studies, and more.
