Step 1: Tell us about yourself
You’ll answer three quick questions so we can tailor your portfolio experience:
- Career stage — Where are you in your PM journey? (Aspiring, Starting Out, Early Career, Mid-Career, Senior/Leadership)
- Primary goal — What are you hoping to accomplish? (Land first PM role, Job searching, Get promoted, Grow your presence, Just exploring)
- How you heard about Prodfolio — Helps us understand where our community comes from
Step 2: Set up your profile
This is where you create your first shell portfolio:
- First name and last name (required)
- Professional title (required) — “Senior Product Manager”
- LinkedIn URL (optional)
- Your portfolio slug - This is automatically generated from your name (
app.prodfolio.io/p/firstname-lastname) but you can customize it
You can update your slug anytime from your portfolio settings.
What happens next
After completing onboarding, Prodfolio automatically creates your first product management portfolio. You can choose to view it or move on the portfolio builder where you can start adding your experience, case studies, and more. Time to make your PM work shine! ✨
