Customizing Section Titles & Subtitles

Every portfolio section has a title (e.g., “Case Studies”) and a subtitle (e.g., “How I’ve solved product challenges”). You can edit both directly on your published portfolio to better reflect your role and experience.

How to edit

  1. Visit your published portfolio while logged in (not the builder)
  2. Hover over any section title or subtitle — a pencil icon appears
  3. Click the pencil icon to enter edit mode
  4. Type your new text
  5. Click away (or press Enter) to save — you’ll see a brief “Saved” confirmation
To cancel: Press Escape while editing to revert to the previous value. To reset to default: Clear the text and click away. The default title or subtitle will be restored.

When to customize

  • Your role is different from a traditional product manager (e.g., program manager, project manager, product ops)
  • You want to tailor the language to match a specific role you’re targeting
  • You want your portfolio to feel more personal and less templated

Custom domain limitation

Inline editing of titles and subtitles is not currently available when viewing your portfolio on a custom domain. This is because the editing session is tied to your Prodfolio login, which doesn’t carry over to external domains.
Workaround: Contact us at support@prodfolio.io with the titles and subtitles you’d like, and we’ll update them for you. You can also edit your titles and subtitles before setting up a custom domain — the changes will carry over once the domain is active.
