How it works

  1. Head to the About section in the portfolio builder
  2. Fill in at least your professional summary, expertise, or experience entries
  3. Click Generate from profile next to Your Product Philosophy
  4. Edit the draft to match your voice and add any nuance the AI couldn’t know
The button only appears once you have enough profile content to generate from. If you don’t see it, add a summary or an experience entry first.

What it uses

The generator reads from your existing profile, including:
  • Professional summary
  • Expertise areas and custom tags
  • Professional title
  • Work experience (company, title, description)
  • Case studies (title and summary)
The more you’ve filled in, the sharper the draft will be.

Length

Your product philosophy is a 200-character tagline, not an essay. Think 1–2 punchy sentences on how you approach building products. The generator caps output at 200 characters. The editor will warn you if you go over, but it won’t block you, so feel free to edit beyond it if you have a good reason.

Tips

  • Generate a draft, then edit it to sound like you. The AI gives you a structured starting point, not your final voice.
  • Fill in more of your profile before generating. A richer summary, expertise list, and a case study or two produce a more specific draft.
