# Locking Case Studies

We get it, some of your best product management work is under NDA. Locking a case study lets you include it in your portfolio while controlling who gets to see it. 🔒

## How it works

1. Toggle **Lock This Case Study** on a case study in the builder
2. When visitors click the case study, they'll be prompted to request access
3. You receive a notification in your [Access Management](/access/managing-requests) dashboard
4. You can approve or reject the request
5. If approved, you choose a duration (1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or indefinite)
6. The visitor receives access automatically
