# Adding an About Video

A short video introduction can make your product manager portfolio more personal and memorable. It's a chance to show your personality beyond what a resume can convey, and hiring managers love it. 🎥

## Supported platforms

* **YouTube** (including Shorts links)
* **Loom**
* **Vimeo**
* **ScreenStudio**

## How to add a video

1. Open the portfolio builder
2. Go to the **Basics** section
3. Find the **About Video** field
4. Paste the URL from any supported platform
5. Optionally add a **video caption**
6. Optionally add a **thumbnail photo**

Prodfolio automatically detects the platform and generates the embed.

<Note>To use this feature, you must be on a Free Trial or the Pro plan.</Note>

## Tips

* Keep it under 5 minutes, viewers have short attention spans
* Introduce yourself, your product management background, and what you're looking for
* A casual, authentic tone works best. Just be you!
* Loom is great for quick, low-effort recordings
